Press release:

After selling out two rounds of early-bird tickets, both within hours of their release, we are thrilled to announce the first lineup reveal for Port Noise.

Taking place on March 9th, 2024 in the heart of Ōhinehou Lyttelton, Port Noise aims to showcase a diverse selection of artists from Aotearoa and abroad.

We're incredibly thankful to our community, as well to all the arts communities around Aotearoa who've collaborated with us, and given us strength and momentum.

Our first artist release includes Flying Nun jangle alumni The Bats, celestial beat messengers Clear Path Ensemble, fevered avant-garage trio Coolies, opera-dungeon-techno-sludge oufit Grecco Romank, downbeat soul-style MC Mā, aliencore trip-hop collaborators PollyHill x Samara Alofa, psychedelic buzz-boppers Soaked Oats, and ground dwelling fuzz-rockers Wurld Series.

Through collaboration with our community, Port Noise transforms the car park and courtyard that connects three neighbouring iconic venues in Ōhinehou, offering our festival-goers the best local cuisine, craft beverages, merchandise and record pop ups, immersive installations, and artist-led micro experiences.

In a space curated to embrace the industrial beauty of our hometown, while expanding the limits of what one may expect from a music festival–– we invite both audience and artist alike to come bask in the wild glory of this shared true telling of the self.

Second lineup to be announced in January.
