Dinosaur Jr. Auckland Show Supports Announced - Office Dog

US gods of indie-rock Dinosaur Jr. are soon returning to Aotearoa, treating their legions of local fans to a performance of their 1993 classic Where You Been "in its entirety followed by a set of songs spanning the band’s catalog" at Auckland Town Hall. The o.g. team of J Mascis, Lou Barlow (Sebadoh) and Murph get us even more amped about the imminent onslaught of virtuosic guitar shreddery with the revelation they'll be joined for the occasion by local heroes Office Dog — fronted by Kane Strang with drummer Mitchell Innes and bassist Rassani Tolovaa — whose breakout 2023 Flying Nun debut album Spiel is releasing worldwide later this month via New West Records.
