Danika (Aus), Workhorse (Aus), Jazmine Mary - Auckland Show Announced
Working away in picturesque France over the past month on an artist residency, Best Independent Debut Award winner Jazmine Mary's gorgeous second album DOG has been rightly hailed as a local release highlight of 2023. Soon touring with Pony Baby partner in song ARAHI toasting their collaborative debut album, Jazmine Mary will treat fans to a solo performance alongside visiting Australian talents Danika and Workhorse at Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Backroom on 29th February, both of whom are also playing at Camp A Low Hum 2024.
Naarm songwriter Danika Smith unveiled her latest collection Down Love early last year, praised by Forte for showcasing the folk / soul / jazz artist's "incredible vocal range between a myriad of atmospheric dream-pop sensibilities and haunting gothic-western arrangements". Fronted by Adelaide-based artist Harriet Fraser-Barbour, Workhorse's "western-tinged, dream-pop" debut album No Photographs launched into the world via Dinosaur City in mid-2022. Don't dawdle in getting tickets for this top quality summer lineup — details below...
