An electronic producer / DJ whose projects include none other than Imugi 이무기 (stars of our very first episode of Trash Recital), Caru's magic touch extends to the realm of remixes. Spinning tunes at this Saturday's Lerm Werld 4 two room party at Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar and Backroom, Caru pays homage to Aotearoa's club music heritage with two new unofficial reworks — an effervescent 2-step garage edit of Ardijah's balearic 1998 classic 'Silly Love Songs' (itself a Wings cover) plus an uplifting take on Nesian Mystik's 2008 banger 'Nesian 101' that's guaranteed to move bodies. Still ruling local airwaves with November's crosswalk-sampling 'JAYWALK' collab with Micca, Caru has just started a summer residency on George FM with Mānuka Recordings co-founder Dylan Biscuit.
