Recipient of multiple Grammy nominations for his 2017 album Gumbo, New Orleans soul / R&B / jazz maestro PJ Morton will be gracing Aotearoa stages for the first time ever this coming March. Keyboardist with pop-rock megastars Maroon 5 from 2012 onwards, and producer for the likes of BJ The Chicago Kid and Jermaine Dupri, PJ Morton will be in town touring his latest album Watch The Sun — featuring Stevie Wonder, Nas, JoJo, El DeBarge, Wale, and Mr. Talkbox amongst the record's cast of superstars — spotlighted on his resplendent follow up live album Watch The Sun Live: The Mansion Sessions. Multi GRAMMY® Award winning R&B and soul artist, producer and songwriter PJ Morton is heading to New Zealand for the first time ever! “The Please Be Good Tour” will be hitting San Fran in Wellington on Fri 22 March, and The Tuning Fork in Auckland on Sat 23 March.
As well as being the keyboardist for Maroon 5 since 2012 and having produced for everybody from BJ The Chicago Kid and Jermaine Dupri, to Jazmine Sullivan, his live duet of “How Deep Is Your Love” with Yebba has over 50 million streams and his latest solo artist project ‘Watch The Sun’ (2022) includes collaborations with Stevie Wonder, Nas, Wale, Jojo and more.
