The Dear Hunter Announce Debut New Zealand Shows
Arising from Providence, Rhode Island in the mid-'00s and orbiting around the multi-instrumental / lyrical talents of helmsman Casey Crescenzo, progressive rock collective The Dear Hunter are playing in Aotearoa for the very first time this coming June. No relation to Bradford Cox's similarly named project, The Dear Hunter promise to cherry pick a full spectrum of material from throughout their vast back catalogue for the group's debut shows in Auckland and Wellington — spanning eight thematically rich studio long players, including their ambitious Act I to Act V album cycle and a mammoth fifteen EPs from 2006 onwards. Touring here following 2022's sci-fi / fantasy-themed Antimai — "introducing the titular city and its geographical and social structure on a fictional world" — The Dear Hunter are sure to be sonically majestic live experience. Go catch them this winter, brought to you by Valhalla Touring and Bird’s Robe...
