Twine (Aus) Debut New Zealand Shows Announced
A five-piece who offer bandages and gauze in the form of noise for their exposed wounds, Adelaide's Twine are about to hit Aotearoa for the very first time. Thomas Katsaras fronts with guitar and brash vocals, Alicia Salvanos sticks the bass, Jackson Pagett rips into the drum skins, Ricky Albeck reinforces with more guitar and Thea Martin brings haunting violin. The culmination of their sound draws influence from such combos as Slint and Unwound, expressed on just four single releases so far. Visiting our shores for the double weekend Camp A Low Hum Festival, Twine will ensnare the ears of Te Whanganui-a-Tara and Tāmaki Makaurau, alongside fellow Adelaide artist Keeskea at Moon and our overdriven locals Swallow The Rat and Neither Do I at The Wine Cellar, respectively. Currently on tour with Mclusky, get in quick for Twine's debut local shows below...
