DARTZ Announce 'Dangerous Day To Be A Cold One' Album Release Tour
Attention all DARTZ fans (DARTZsters?) across Aotearoa and beyond: it's time to come together and make history. Storming the number one spot on the NZ album chart in 2022 with their debut Flying Nun album The Band From Wellington, New Zealand, DARTZ will be quenching our collective thirst for more killer punk-pop anthems with their second long player Dangerous Day To Be A Cold One, recorded / mixed by James Goldsmith and out in full on 1st March. The team of Danz, Clark Mathews, Crispy and Rollyz are spreading the love far and wide on their just-announced nationwide album release tour — warming up on the East Coast with Naarm punks Private Function, then kicking the tour off in earnest on launch day with a hometown rager at San Fran.
Hand-customising the budget-friendly "cost of living" black version of their new album via livestream last night, Dangerous Day To Be A Cold One is available for presale on strictly limited (only 21 remain) 'Bush Weed' coloured vinyl HERE, along with the standard black and compact disc editions. Launching amidst stiff NZ album chart competition (including local megastars LAB), every ticket presale includes a digital album purchase of DDTBACO — your attendance can make all the difference in propelling DARTZ to the very top. Frontman / cover artist Danz makes no bones about how the stakes could not be higher for DARTZ...
"Firstly, we need to sell this record hard, of course claim another Number 1 NZ album over the likes of LAB, and get it into the pantheon of great NZ albums so it’s up there amongst albums like Killjoy, The General Electric, Pacifier, Love Is The New Hate, Churn, and even the one with the green insect on the cover."

Press release:
The Band From Wellington is back: DARTZ are releasing their second album Dangerous Day To Be A Cold One this March.
Quickly returning to the studio following their 2022 NZ chart-topping debut, DARTZ enlisted producer James Goldsmith (DARTZ) and bunkered down at The Surgery in their home city of Wellington. The result is Dangerous Day To Be A Cold One, a raucous 30 minutes that channels DARTZ's party-starting pub rock energy into ten of their most anthemic tracks yet.
Featuring sports-rock lead single Earn The Thirst, snarky summer anthem Paradise, and a thundering title track - as well as many more future fan favourites - Dangerous Day To Be A Cold One looks to be another decisive statement from Aotearoa's most irrepressibly entertaining rock up-and-comers.
All tickets are being sold as a combination package with a digital download of DARTZ's new album Dangerous Day To Be A Cold One.
