Watch Delaney Davidson's Video For 'Out Of My Head'
Lyttelton songwriting luminary Delaney Davidson's tenth studio album Out Of My Head will be out in full this coming Friday, heralded by a beautifully filmed new video for the title track, co-directed by the multiple award winning musical enigma himself and Martin Sagadin. Already an SRN favourite with a melodious refrain rivalling the Finn brothers in terms of catchiness, the single's black and white accompanying clip is framed as a localised "tribute to Alphaville and Jean-Luc Godard's futuristic modern day nightmare," made with support from NZ On Air. Donning hat, trench coat and turtleneck sweater, Davidson's version of Lemmy Caution navigates an oppressive neo-noir world of signs and symbols, with assistance from co-star Susannah Kenton.
Featuring guest contributions from Reb Fountain and Marlon Williams, order your copy of Davidson's new record co-produced by Mark Perkins HERE, open your eyes and ears to 'Out Of My Head' ("ultimately a song of hope") below and don't miss him in his element this April— touring stages across the nation with Chamber Music New Zealand's live string ensemble...
