Finalists Announced For Best Māori Artist and Mana Reo Awards - Aotearoa Music Awards 2024
The finalists have been revealed for the 2024 Best Māori Artist and Mana Reo awards, to be presented at the Aotearoa Music Awards ceremony at Tāmaki Makaurau's Viaduct Events Centre on 30th May. The Mana Reo award recognises recordings with at least 50% te reo Māori content, while Best Māori Artist has received the new te reo translated title Te Māngai Pāho Te Manu Taki Māori o te Tau, with both categories celebrating "artists whose music reflects a unique Māori identity and / or is an expression of te ao Māori".
