Sam Cullen Shares 'Love Again' EP + Video

Sam Cullen urges listeners to reignite the flames of passion with his sophomore Love Again EP, bundling together lead singles 'Forever' and 'The Cold Midwinter' with new anthems 'Written In the Wind' and the title track. Raised in Invercargill and now based in the sprawling metropolitan expanses of Tāmaki Makaurau, the songwriter's husky-toned, majestic vocal powers sound capable of moving mountains — boosted by a generosity of rock grooves, arms-in-the-air solos and sparkling synths throughout. Expressing emotional vulnerability and a worldly spirit belying his mid-twenties youth, Cullen finds the energy within to move forward while holding onto his roots, "wearing my heart on my sleeve, talking about being homesick, growing up, and trying to figure out who I am.”

Directed by Dave Thomson (Imaginary Friends) and featuring bandmates Nepia Ruwhiu, James Mac, Jamie Hannah and Simon Kenrick, the brand new video for the title track gives fans a rousing taste of what they can look forward to at Cullen's release show at Whammy Backroom on 27th April. After selling out their debut show in Auckland last July, Sam Cullen and his band return to the stage to celebrate the release of his new EP 'Love Again'. 'Love Again' is a sincere, earnest body of work that details growing up, homesickness, pub culture, and self discovery.

Following a massive 10-date spring tour in 2023 playing festivals and support slots around the country, Sam can’t wait to reunite with his band for this special show at Whammy Backroom in Auckland.
