Tāmaki Makaurau's nightlife and indeed Aotearoa's live music community as a whole would be in a pathetic state without The Wine Cellar, unwavering in championing our most exciting sonic talents since founder Rohan Evans set up his iconic bar beneath St. Kevin's Arcade in 2004. The official timetable has at last been unveiled for the two night closing party for It Seemed A Good Idea At The Time - Twenty Years Of The Wine Cellar festival, six nights celebrating this incredible achievement from 27th May to 1st June. Head out there, support The Wine Cellar crew and the heroic role they've played in local music culture over the past two decades, and start mapping out your own pathway through the double night closing extravaganza — including the reunited Dad Jokes (!) confirmed for Saturday, a rare appearance from Sulfate, and Amamelia back from Australia...
