Happy Valley 'Days That End In Why' Debut Album Release Tour Announced
It's feeling like heavy-hitting, emotionally aggressive music is on the upswing and Pōneke post-hardcore proponents Happy Valley are at the forefront, unleashing their debut album Days That End In Why in late May with a victory lap nationwide release tour. Welcoming on board a small army of special guests, these shows will be a fine reason for fans to rejoice and gnash their teeth in despair, as the group state: "You'd better come out, because this it for us. Apart from a farewell Wellington show to be announced, this is your last chance, get out to the shows and help us make it a memorable last blast." Do as they say and turn up in force at the following dates, including an appearance at Destroy Napier Festival...

Press release:
To mark the release of their debut album Days That End In Why, Pōneke’s Happy Valley are bringing their trademark post-hardcore energy and dynamism on a tour across the motu.
Days That End In Why takes the band's sound further, and leans into their trademark meshing of styles. Bringing melody alongside dissonance, and contrasting quick explosions of energy with longer and more expansive song structures, it's the fully realised version of Happy Valley's sound.
This tour also has a note of melancholy to it, as it will be Happy Valley’s last tour as a band. This is your last chance to see Happy Valley outside of Pōneke, so get out to the shows and let loose! Pre-sale tickets from Undertheradar, with door sales at all shows.
