Ringlets Unveil New Single 'New Life' + 'Scam Me'
Catching keen ears in Aotearoa and abroad with the assured post-punk cacophony of their 2023 self-titled debut album, Ringlets are back with a double-punch first release for 2024 'New Life / Scam Me' — out today digitally and on shiny limited 7" vinyl disc courtesy of Flying Nun Records and Leather Jacket Records on 7th June. Scrappy and tightly spring-loaded, Ringlets sound positively cherubic on 'New Life', kicking up a dust-storm of fractured rhythms with dashes of buoyant melodics as vocalist Leith Towers intones "New life, best life, fast life, new life", while B-side 'Scam Me' finds the group dipping their toes into tangential extended skit territory.
