With hearts pointed towards the horizon, the central theme of PARK RD's new thirteen track debut album The Novel “is definitely love.” Opener ‘June’ takes us on a sonic journey that introduces the long player’s further aches for fulfilment in romance and life. There’s irresistible synths and gat sonics that may sweep our ears but only for a moment, like the pumping-for-a-night-out riff of ‘Call Me Up’ plus searing guitars of ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’ and ‘Save The Planet’.
