Listen To S.E.I.S.M.I.C's Self-Titled Debut Album
Feeling not unlike a southern-bred mutant offspring of the Flightless Records roster, lovers of fuzz-freaked cosmic psych-doom ought to crank up the self-titled debut album from Ōtautahi's S.E.I.S.M.I.C. Unafraid to get sonically wild, the Cantabrian four-piece "from the planet Mars" elevate their mega-heavy riff-crunch with Kirby-cracklin' synth squiggles, here presenting nine anthems intergalactic in visionary scope. Sounding pleasingly raw, yet laser-like in focus and absolutely brimming with energy, S.E.I.S.M.I.C celebrated their new record all garbed in white at their hometown's Space Academy last Saturday. They're next hitting Ōtepoti this Friday as part of a nationwide launch tour — open your ears to S.E.I.S.M.I.C, experience the mind-zapping, slightly concerning video for 'Abduction' directed by Dan Hodges and don't miss them live...
