The Jesus And Mary Chain Auckland Supports Announced - Elliot & Vincent

Scottish shoegaze / noise-rock pioneers The Jesus And Mary Chain are making a momentous return to Aotearoa at the end of this month, playing a one-off headline event at Tāmaki Makaurau's The Powerstation — following the recent launch of their superb fuzz-drenched eighth album Glasgow Eyes. Formed in 1983 and still helmed by sibling co-founders Jim Reid and William Reid, they've revealed guest supports will be red hot local duo Elliot & Vincent, aka singer / drummer Elliot Finn and guitarist Vincent Cherry, whose joint achievements already include (with no official releases yet to their name) supporting Australian luminary Alex Cameron in February and throwing down at the sold-out JUNK festival last month.
