Watch Dateline's New Video For 'Nothing'
Some things are simply a matter of perspective. For example: the title of Dateline's second album It's All Downhill From Here might suggest an ever-narrowing future of shrinking possibilities, but for a skiing enthusiast it would mean non-stop thrills ahead. Either way, the Pōneke collective's new album is a thirteen song indie-fuzz-grunge-pop-punk winner, bedazzled with razor-sharp, worldly observations and storytelling by songwriter / guitarist Katie Everingham. Starting their triple date release tour next week, Dateline today roll out a new video for album highlight 'Nothing'.
Directed by Finn Hyndman, the clip for 'Nothing' expands upon the song's almost David Byrne-like lyrical sentiment with shadow theatre, living laundry and frolicsome fun on a grassy slope. Treat your eyeballs and don't miss Everingham, Hikurangi Schaverien-Kaa, Phoebe Johnson and Reuben McDonald with friends this spring...
