Spotlight: BIG HORNS Auckland Show ft. Boh Runga, Ché-Fu, Ria Hall, Kings
BIG HORNS stars four of Aotearoa's most iconic artists performing with 22-member live band including a full 10-piece horn section (plus a turntablist in the mix), coming together for one unmissable night at Auckland's The Powerstation on 12th October. The supremely stacked lineup features hip-hop / R&B innovator Ché-Fu, soul / roots trailblazer Ria Hall, chart-topping rapper / producer Kings, and multi-platinum rock songwriter Boh Runga (Stellar).
Working with musical director Dixon Nacey and trumpeter / brass section arranger Mike Booth, these local mega-talents will perform horn-tooting renditions of hip-hop and R&B favourites from the Y2K era — including anthems by Tupac, Mary J Blige, Blackstreet, Beyonce, Warren G, Soul II Soul, Arrested Development, House of Pain, and more — plus stone cold classics from the singers' own songbooks. Truly a party of epic proportions, experience an advance taste of BIG HORNS with the clips below and grab tickets while you can, early birds are already sold out...
