Like a beat-fuelled banquet for your earholes, the new single from Tāmaki Makaurau's techno-industrial titans Grecco Romank boasts the biggest and brightest lineup of local guest stars this side of 'Sailing Away'. Kiwis working hand in hand on 'Chainlinks' include Jazmine Mary, James Milne (Lawrence Arabia, Half Hexagon), Anthonie Tonnon, Liam Clune (Night Lunch, HŌHĀ, Crime Hospital), David Feauai-Afaese (LEAO), Ex-Partner, Yolanda Fagan (Half Hexagon, The Echo Ohs, Na Noise), Paul Blanchard (Vihil, Roseworm, Vow Cave, Ave Teth) and Lucy Suttor (Dick Move) — all chiming in with vocal contributions — plus guitar from Scott Satherley (Demons Of Noon), and Grecco Romank core member Billie Fee's sister Morgan and mother Philippa rounding out the Aotearoa gothic horror mega-choir.

Peering into "the shadowed corners of national identity" and overblown on a such an ambitious scale Jim Steinman would be proud, 'Chainlinks' is the latest tune revealed from Grecco Romank's new album and book Arts Colony — featuring thirty seven artists from throughout Aotearoa — bursting into reality this week.
