Cryptopsy (CAN) New Zealand Shows Announced
A vital force in Canadian technical death metal from 1993 onwards, Cryptopsy won the hearts of fans worldwide with the masterful viciousness of their mid-'90s double-punch classics Blasphemy Made Flesh (1994) and None so Vile (1996). Featuring founding member / drumming maestro Flo Mounier alongside gravel-toned vocalist Matt McGachy, guitarist Christian Donaldson (both of whom have been with the group for two decades) and bassist since 2012 Olivier Pinard, Cryptopsy's Grammy award-winning album As Gomorrah Burns (2023, Nuclear Blast) signalled a productive new era for the unrepentantly aggressive Montreal four-piece, who have vowed to release a new record every two years.
Cryptopsy are bringing their ALL SO VILE tour down under this December just before Christmas, blasting local punters with sounds from their ninth studio album An Insatiable Violence (out on 20th June via Season of Mist) plus more at Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar and Pōneke's Valhalla — here are the details...

Press release:
Valhalla Touring are proud to announce direct from Canada, one of the worlds most brutal Death Metal bands, the mighty CRYPTOPSY, headlining 2 shows to close out the year of 2025, on their ALL SO VILE tour!!!
More than 30 years into their storied career, Montreal Death Metal innovators Cryptopsy return with their ninth studio album, An Insatiable Violence, set for release on June 20, 2025 on Season of Mist.
Revered in extreme Metal circles for such groundbreaking classics as 1994’s Blasphemy Made Flesh and the 1996 magnum opus None So Vile, Cryptopsy find yet another gear on An Insatiable Violence, which further solidifies the band’s place in the upper echelon of Death Metal.
Coming out of the pandemic, the band dedicated themselves to staying on top of their game more than ever before, with the intention of consistently putting out a new record every two years. That started with 2023’s acclaimed As Gomorrah Burns, which WON them a CANADIAN GRAMMY, and continues 21 months later with An Insatiable Violence.
CRYPTOPSY will destroy December 2025 in Auckland/Tamaki Makaurau and Wellington/Te Whanganui-a-Tara
