Neil Finn Announces Infinity Sessions - Winter 2025 ft. The Beths, Dave Dobbyn, Tami Neilson, Don McGlashan, Bic Runga, Tom Scott, Troy Kingi, Tiny Ruins + More
Most likely the most star-powered Aotearoa music event of 2025, Neil Finn and Roundhead Studios have gathered together a big bunch of friends to bring you the INFINITY SESSIONS. Organised with the laudable and timely aim "to "Make Us Feel Good About Life"(MUFGAL) and bring great music & mirth to the people of New Zealand and beyond as a mid winter pick me up", the extravaganza features intimate scale live performances by a multigenerational who's who of local greats, taking place across ten evenings over two weeks at the aforementioned Tāmaki Makaurau studio hub. The inclusive initiative will also be streamed each night via YouTube and Instagram Live — nobody needs to miss out, as music buffs around the world can experience the magic live as it happens.
The lineup of headliners is straight up gobsmacking: Neil Finn, The Beths, Dave Dobbyn, Tami Neilson, Don McGlashan, Bic Runga, Tom Scott, Troy Kingi, and Tiny Ruins, plus as yet unannounced special guests galore. Capacity for each performance is understandably strictly limited, those keen to head along can select which evenings they'd like to attend via the link below, then pounce into action when tickets go live. Notably: "There is no intention or likelihood of profit from this event but in the event of a profit or generous donations they will be directed to the charity MusicHelps".
