Mara TK & Jen Cloher - 'Mai Te Awa Ki Te Moana' Fundraiser Event Announced

Songwriting star and co-founder of the hugely influential (and now-defunct) Australian independent imprint Milk! Records, Jen Cloher (Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa, Ngāpuhi) is now based in Aotearoa and will soon be uniting with neo-soul hero Mara TK (Kai Tahu, Ngāti Maniapoto) and taonga pūoro collective Mauri Aura for a special Palestine fundraiser later this month. Mai Te Awa Ki Te Moana ("From The River To The Sea") is a Saturday matinee event happening at St Peter's Village Hall in Paekākāriki on 23rd August, helping support "Ōtaki based community group WeAreYourWhānauInAotearoa who have been sending koha to Mohammed and his whānau in Palestine for the past two years."
