Old man winter still has us in his icy paws, but those with their wits about them are already locking in plans for summer. A monster-scale first lineup has been announced this morning for the South Island's multi-day, multi-stage new year's eve spectacular Rhythm and Alps 2025, hosting acts from far and wide at Wānaka's Cardrona Valley from 29th to 31st December, marking the festival's 15th anniversary.

The overseas contingent includes genre-melting US superstar Santigold, RUDIM3NTAL, the new DJ project from East London drum and bass collective Rudimental, UK rapper Dizzee Rascal and even more big names to be revealed soon. Party-igniting Aotearoa artists on the initial bill include Chaos In The CBD, Corella, The Black Seeds, HALFQUEEN, Lady Shaka, Nice Girl and Dick Johnson.
