HIGH ALTAR Announce Veneration Of St Denis Tour of Aotearoa
HIGH ALTAR are the duo of Brendan Moran (Hasselhoff Experiment, Subliminals, Vor-stellan) and Taipua Adams (Terror of the Deep, The Perms), who have charted their own course in 'semi-improvised' guitar / drums mega-heavy psych-noise shred, with a smattering of expansive releases over the past year. In their element when synergising on the spot, the aurally unchained Aotearoa micro ensemble have announced a ten date spring nationwide tour, commencing at New Plymouth's new hub of heavy music Asgard and joined by a plethora of suitably fab special guests along the way. Here are the official details...
"HIGH ALTAR are an intense crackle of spectral sounds; a potent audio tool built on a bare-bones structure of rhythm section components and added electronic timbre which alights a crooked path trailing sonic vortices with oscillatory behavior. In short - drum kit, bass guitar, atmospheric electronics. Sometimes heavy, sometimes fast and punchy.
Their devotional offering of aural expression shall occur at the following cathedrals of sound."
