Jubilation at The Hollywood Announced ft. Julia Deans, Anika Moa, Bella Kalolo

Aotearoa's gospel choir "with a rock 'n' roll soul" from the year 2000 onwards, Jubilation have invited local vocal powerhouses Julia Deans (of Fur Patrol), Bella Kalolo and Anika Moa to join them for an uplifting spring spectacular at Tāmaki Makaurau's iconic Hollywood Avondale. Attendees can look forward to no less than "great songs from the Aotearoa songbook, swathed in life affirming, spine-tingling choral arrangements and a delicious few surprises" on 23rd November. Jubilation at The Hollywood brings together Ponsonby’s own Jubilation Choir with special guests Julia Deans, Bella Kalolo and Anika Moa for an evening of beautiful songs and beautiful singing. Enjoy the trademark joyful harmonies of Jubilation alongside Julia Deans, Bella Kalolo and Anika Moa performing a curated selection of their own songs. Jubilation Choir has been celebrating the naked human voice in all its glory since they got together 25 years ago to sing gospel, blues and soul – now they're honoured to join forces with three of Aotearoa's favourite wahine toa of music, to create new versions of some of truly iconic New Zealand songs.
