An ode to the primal rugged essence of rock 'n' roll, 'Can't Muzzle Me' is the forthcoming new single from Christchurch riff lords Pieces Of Molly. Ambushing listeners on 16th October with the group's first new release since 2022's self-titled debut album, Pieces Of Molly are marking this auspicious occasion with a triple date run of launch gigs, joined by special guests at Dunedin's iconic The Crown Hotel, Timaru's The Sail Cafe and Bar and their hometown's rock hub A Rolling Stone this November. Supports for UK doom icons Orange Goblin, California stoner metal kings Sasquatch and our own The Datsuns in recent years, 'Can't Muzzle Me' represent the dawning of a sonically untamed new era for Pieces Of Molly. "'Cant Muzzle Me' is a song about the undying spirit that is rock n roll. Real rock n roll will never die, It may be buried under charlatans and pretenders once in a while, but it always claws its way out. that's what this song is about.

We've been fizzing to get back out and play some shows. We really poured everything into the new music which kept us of the stage a wee bit. Dunedin is always rad, It's been a long time since we played Timaru, and we obviously love our home crowd in Christchurch. We'd love to get back up to the North Island at some stage!"
