Emblematic of aural innovation in Aotearoa New Zealand for more than five decades, From Scratch have announced Songs For Unsung Heroes, a fundraiser event "for NZ medics to Gaza" at Kahui St. David's on Khyber Pass in Tāmaki Makaurau on 11th October. Founded in 1974 by intermedia art pioneer and Arts Foundation Laureate Phillip Dadson ONZM, Fram Scratch's latest album 625 Moons — featuring selected recordings from last September's suitably monumental 625 Moons = 50 Years of From Scratch performance series — is out now via Audio Foundation Records, a new vinyl LP edition of which will be available at the show.
