Founded in Te Whanganui-A-Tara Wellington at the dawn of the millennium and now a major independent musical force, Loop Recordings Aot(ear)oa embrace a vibrant new era with the launch of Loop Electronic: Select 001, the debut compilation from their recently established Loop Electronic imprint. Loop Electronic have released a score of singles and long players over the past year, with Select 001 cherry-picking highlights by Sanoi, Harry Charles, Zuke, and Rhian Sheehan & Arli Liberman, rounded off with a special compilation mix by Dylan C. Encapsulating this crucial moment of growth for the label while hinting at evolutions to come, the collection balances deep dance floor excursions and impeccably crafted, immersive soundscapes (often simultaneously).

Naturally enough, Loop Electronic are celebrating their achievements thus far with a nationwide LOOP Electronic: Tour 001, hosting Sanoi, Harry Charles, Zuke and Dylan C plus special guests in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Ōtautahi Christchurch, and the capital, with artists tagging in and out as required.
