Erase Everything Unveil 'Glass Souls' EP

The alt-rock / post-punk collective of Angelo Munro, Milan Borich, Matthew Berry, Grant Sowerby and Jon Ropiha, Erase Everything's new single 'Shadows' completes the voyage to their Glass Souls EP via Sunreturn. A triumphantly mega-heavy, fuzz-scorching closer to the four song collection (each track earning single status), according to Sowerby the anthem emerged from "a Twin Peaks marathon and ended with Helmet." Boosting it southwards for a release tour starting this weekend in Invercargill and Dunedin, it's likely the Aotearoa supergroup will bust out their Halloween appropriate latest tune when they headline Night 1 of Gathering Shadows festival of dark arts in January 2026...

"I have a bit of an obsession for Twin Peaks, when I heard Shadows it evoked an intention to speak to a dark romance. It’s loosely based on the tension between Dale Cooper and Audrey Horne, and it being somewhat taboo or inappropriate. ‘Lying in the shadows’ is like saying they can't have what they both desire.

For Erase Everything 2025 was about pulling our finger out, recording and playing outside of Tāmaki Makaurau. It's nice to get it out there, give people a taste and hopefully have them wanting more so we can unleash a full length record next year.
