Punks For Progress Auckland Fundraiser Show Announced

As Tāmaki Makaurau starts to seriously heat up in advance of summer, members of our local punk community are banding together in support of Rights Aotearoa and Auckland City Mission. A special Sunday matinee fundraiser at Double Whammy on 23rd November, Punks For Progress will feature live sets by Alternative Facts, The Bright Ideas, Scream By Tulips, Lipstick Cherry and Trepidations, and doubles as an launch shindig for Alternative Facts' debut EP (officially out on 15th November). Here's the official lowdown...

It's a scary time for all of us, so why not blow off a little steam while doing some good at the same time? You can have it all at Punks For Progress — a full Sunday afternoon of great punk rock at Double Whammy, with full sets from Alternative Facts (EP release show), The Bright Ideas, Scream By Tulips, Lipstick Cherry, and Trepidations — with a vegan sausage sizzle and the Bake Sale For Peace as well. And all proceeds from the gig will go to Rights Aotearoa and Auckland City Mission.
