Repulsive Woman Touring Aotearoa New Zealand in January
Recipient of the Best Independent Debut award for her 2019 album Relief, Repulsive Woman aka Millie Lovelock presciently relocated halfway across the globe to the UK just before the pandemic caused widespread disruption (to put it mildly). Having now successfully completed a PhD in English Literature at The University Of Manchester, Lovelock is heading back southwards for a summer sojourn in her homeland, squeezing in long-awaited headline shows in Ōtautahi, Ōtepoti and Tāmaki Makaurau this coming January — her first tour of Aotearoa New Zealand since the release of Relief. Rewarding fans with 2023's The Even Hand EP, Repulsive Woman's second album has been announced for 2026. Don't flub your chance to catch these rare local performances by the Astro Children co-founder at the following dates...
"I guess I'm coming home this summer? Happy, anxious, excited to share that I'm playing a tiny little fistful of shows in Aotearoa this coming January.
It's been a really long time.
Hoping to see some old friends and some new in Ōtautahi, Ōtepoti, and Tāmaki Makaurau."
