Exhumed (USA) New Zealand Shows Announced For May w/ Anoxia (AUS)

Originally set to be visiting Aotearoa New Zealand in mid-2020 before a minor curveball called the global pandemic happened, it's been an interminable wait ever since for local fans of California Gore Metal icons Exhumed. Propagators of unapologetically grisly death metal for more than three decades — utilising violent lyrical themes to pointedly critique late-stage capitalism — and still helmed by core members Matt Harvey (who founded the group in 1990 at the age of fifteen) and Ross Sewage, Exhumed will finally be blasting our ears at Te Whanganui-a-Tara's Valhalla and Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar this May. They'll be here touring their forthcoming tenth studio album Red Asphalt (out in full 20th February), supported for both dates by old school death metal Sydneysiders Anoxia...
