Origin (USA) Touring Aotearoa New Zealand in June

Last here during the dawn of the '10s, heavy music devotees across Aotearoa New Zealand will soon witness the fretboard-melting return of Topeka, Kansas technical death metal masters Origin. Pioneers of their virtuosic ear-pummelling form, Origin's roots can be traced back to 1990, but they didn't start officially releasing full length records until their 2000 self-titled debut, notably "the first death metal album released on a label to incorporate the use of gravity blasts" (once known as the Origin blast). Now with eight studio albums to their name, Origin will be finally back down under touring their latest record Chaosmos in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch — brought to you by the champions at Valhalla Touring...
