Armandinho (Brazil) Auckland Headline Show Announced

Superstar of Brazilian reggae music, Armandinho will soon be back in Aotearoa New Zealand for his third local visit, treating devotees to one local headline date only at Double Whammy in Tāmaki Makaurau, as part of his spring Australasian tour. Hailing from Porto Alegre in Rio Grande, the surf-loving songwriter has consistently served up massive hits for more than two decades, including 'Desenho de Deus' (featured on 2006's Armandinho Ao Vivo) and 'Outra Vida', and will arrive following the 2025 launch of his anthem-packed new album Se o Tempa Passa. Back to New Zealand after selling out twice in his last visits Armandinho is playing at Double Whammy on Wednesday April 15th.

Armandinho is a popular Brazilian singer and song-writer. He is recognised as one of the most notorious brazilian reggae artist of all time. His music is an amazing mix of brazilian music and reggae.

Armandinho is very well known in many other countries and always sell out concerts in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Portugal. He has toured in USA many times.

In 2004, The Album Casinha included the song “Desenho de Deus”. His biggest hit. Many of his surfing music songs became hits. “Balanço da Rede”, “Ursinho de Dormir”, “O Justiceiro”, “Sexo na Caranga”, “Toca uma Reguera Aí”, “Semente”, “Paulinha” e “A Filha”.
