A groove-injected gift for your weekend is 'Losing Time', the new single to emerge from In The Mids, an imminent album from Sola Rosa spotlighting collaborative tracks with vocalists from Australia and Aotearoa. Production mastermind Andrew Spraggon hands the mic to now Berlin-based Raglan songsmith Muroki, who ponders time's bold arrow and expresses an unquenchable wanderlust spirit, boosted along by smooth and bubbly neo-funk rhythms. Spraggon will soon be making bold moves of his own, look forward to the new album out 10th April and nationwide launch tour this coming May — featuring "a newly developed visual and lighting design that reshapes how the songs are experienced"...

"We talked about how a lot of Kiwis feel the pull to leave home and explore the world. That idea became the basis for the lyrics. At the time, Muroki was about to move to Berlin, where he now lives, so the song ended up reflecting that moment pretty naturally."
