Aotearoa audio alchemists HIGH ALTAR are the duo of Brendan Moran (Hasselhoff Experiment, Subliminals, Vor-stellan) and Taipua Adams (Terror of the Deep, The Perms), reconvening this Friday onwards for a triple date autumn tour. Masters of deep zone delving, 'semi-improvised' bass guitar / drums / electronics locked-in heavy psych-noise interplay, you can hear a preview of their motorik new track 'Mystic Lamb' in the latest Freak The Sheep podcast, hosted by myself and handily streamable HERE (from 1:03:20 onwards).
