Now firmly established as one of Tāmaki Makaurau's must-see live acts with a string of SRN hits under their collective belt, CCTV set their sights on their next milestone, announcing their imminent debut album Empire with new lead single 'Cowboy Song'. The super city six-piece zig and zag through their tumbling tumbleweed of a noise-cow-punk romp, lurching from feral Gibby Haynes-like yowls and spurs-jangling spaghetti western drawl with complete commitment to their rowdy mission. Out in full on 3rd July, CCTV are toasting the launch of Empire with a release party at Big Fan the next evening, joined by special guests Community Treatment Order and Fishing, plus they'll be supporting Menzies up from Pōneke at Whammy Bar on 7th August.
