Listen to Bunchy's Big Score's New Single 'I Don't Wanna Dance'
Not long at all before Ōtepoti's propagators of infuriatingly catchy and defiantly warped sunshine-pop anthems Bunchy's Big Score release their album number two Wanda's Bicycle. Still ruling our SRN airwaves with 'You Are A Camera', BBS keep the hooks coming while spotlighting their tender-strumming side on new single 'I Don't Wanna Dance', which again features backing vocals from Aotearoa indie-rock royal Robert Scott (The Clean, The Bats). BBS dispense such eerily evocative lines like "You love to laze in the sun while my simple words become shopping lists", as if they alone have secret access to an inexhaustible font of lyrical wisdom. Is the title of their new song prophecy or misdirection? The only way to know for sure is to head along to their launch tour, starting in two weeks time...
