Spotlight: Come Together - Radiohead's 'OK Computer' Concert Tour
One of the most critically adored groups of the past three decades, UK avant-rockers Radiohead's breakthrough 1997 album OK Computer will be celebrated next month with three appropriately massive Come Together events in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington. Akin to a tribute band on steroids, the Come Together band is a constellation of local mega-talents with rotating special guests, helmed by musical director Jol Mulholland with core members Brett Adams (The Mockers), Alistair Deverick (Carnivorous Plant Society, Boycrush), Matthias Jordan (Pluto) and Mike Hall (Pluto, The Brunettes).
The Come Together band with Milan Borich (Pluto), Seamus Johnson (Seamouse) and Josh Braden (No Broadcast) will perform not only OK Computer in its entirety, they'll also be playing selected "classics and deep cuts" from Radiohead's sonically boundless oeuvre. Now widely hailed as one of the best albums of the 1990s, OK Computer first entranced Aotearoa audiences via the dramatic and surreal animated video for six minute epic lead single 'Paranoid Android'. Enjoy the teaser videos of the Come Together band channeling their prowess into 'Paranoid Android', 'Just', and 'Let Down', and snag tickets for this love letter to Radiohead fans while you can...
