Old Mervs (AUS) 'Carparks' New Zealand Tour Announced

Chris Cudby / Wednesday 22nd July, 2026 12:00PM

Still young blokes yet already hard-gigging tour veterans, Western Australia duo Old Mervs thrilled fans with recent news of their upcoming sophomore album Carparks, and have now announced three massive Aotearoa release shows this November. Henry Carrington-Jones and David House famously honed their craft in the farm sheds of their rural home town Kojonup (south-east of Perth), achieving significant streaming success and a Best New Artist Rolling Stone Australia Award nomination with such sunny alt-rock hits as 'Cellphone', 'Out Of Luck', and their 2025 self titled album.

Evidently on a roll with the swift turnaround of record number two (Carparks is out on 2nd October via Dew Process), get amongst with Old Mervs at Auckland's Double Whammy, Christchurch's The Loons and Wellington's San Fran this spring, as part of their wider Australasian launch tour — presented by Select Music...

"We cannot wait to get rolling into this tour. There are heaps of bucket list venues on this run and to get to play this album in them feels bloody good."
