Listen to Dateline's 'Live In Madrid' Fundraiser EP

By popular demand following last year's UK and EU tour supporting The Beths, "Aotearoa's best kept secret in indie-rock" Dateline will soon be returning to the northern hemisphere for a headline tour of their own. As any international touring act will tell you, flight costs have skyrocketed and Dateline could use your help get the 3.0 team of Katie Everingham with Bob Bruce (of Dateline 1.0 and Sea Views) back in front of new overseas fans.

To this end they've shared Dateline Live in Madrid, a four song collection capturing the onstage magic of their show with The Beths in the Spanish capital, including "a couple of unreleased tracks" and available for digital purchase right now via Bandcamp (free download with any other purchase). "Hey big dogs - I'm excited to release this live EP today. Legendary Gabriel Delicious recorded us playing in Madrid while we were on tour last year and generously gifted us these recordings so we could put out this EP. Playing live isn't always perfect but it is FUN and it's nice to be able to share some of our songs with you in a slightly different style...Including a couple of unreleased tracks, how exciting. This live EP is available to listen to and buy on bandcamp. Anything you buy through bandcamp is a huge help and support to us as we get ready to go on tour again next month!! What the heck. Similarly grabbing tickets to our shows helps heaps.

Thanks for the continued love and support. Some days I feel dangerously close to hanging up the G-tar and living out the rest of my days building janky things no one has asked for but when I think about how much I love playing live I stubbornly forge ahead and keep booking ridiculous things like this upcoming UK tour and even though today I'm dreading how much I need to do and save before leaving next month!! I know it's going to be AMAAAAAZING and I will have NO REGRETS cause goddam I love to rock................
