GRIFTFEST 2026 Lineup Announced ft. CRUELLY, Space Bats, Attack!, S.E.I.S.M.I.C, The Perfect Gun, GRIFTHORSE

Spearheaded by Ōtautahi post-punks GRIFTHORSE, GRIFTFEST is a brand new artist-driven sonic spectacular, answering the nagging, no longer hypothetical: "Why can't we just make the gig we want to see a reality ourselves?" Drawing inspiration from such like-minded initiatives as JUNK FEST, Mermgrown and Eyegum Music Collective (I'll throw Dougfest and PROSAPALOOZA in the ring as recent precursors too), Canterbury "equine scammers" Hayden Slaughter, Sam Williams, Isaac McFarlane (host of music industry podcast Mt. Noise), Rutene Rickard, and Ben Sinclair have herded together top talents repping the garden city, Ōtepoti, and Te Whanganui-a-Tara at The Loons in Ōhinehou on 16th October.
