Always a world-class duo, Valentine and Clementine Nixon have reactivated their Purple Pilgrims moniker for a just-announced new album entitled Given to the Night. A joint release from Flying Nun Records and bleeding edge UK imprint AD 93 — who put out the superb Roy Montgomery and Martha Skye Murphy record — Given to the Night will be out on 27th November, teased with the slo-mo dream-pop majesty of lead single 'Innocence Lost'.
Raised between Aotearoa and Hong Kong, the Nixon sisters "deleted social media, retreated into the trees of their native New Zealand" to allow their new record to emerge in unforced fashion.
