Lady Shaka Presents: WHAEA at Neck Of The Woods This Summer
A catalytic force in Aotearoa and global club culture, Lady Shaka is back in Tāmaki Makaurau this summer, presenting a new local edition of her mega-popular WHAEA parties at Neck of the Woods on 5th December. Sizzling up dancefloors with new electro anthem 'Sweat', the Afro-Pasifika DJ / producer — who is credited with coining the term Hiko for indigenous Aotearoa electronic dance music — has invited along Chapters, Nickalee and Soraya La Pread, "for a night dedicated to all the Whaea and Matua across the world!!" We recommend grabbing early birds while you can...
"Expect lots of Dancehall, Soca, Hiko, Island Jams, Brazilian Funk and everything in between. This is one party you DO NOT want to miss! REHEKŌ!!!!!"
