Thank goodness for the International Film Festival, always there to breath a bit of life and excitement into the winter months. The line-up for this years festival has just been revealed with a host of exciting films including some great looking music documentaries - here are some of our picks...

Shut Up and Play The Hits
As previously reported, last year the much loved LCD Soundsystem announced they were calling it quits but not before playing one last monster show at Madison Square Gardens.  The film documents the lead-up to the show including an interviews with Murphy along with footage from the final performance...

Marley
Who doesn't know Bob Marley right? Well now is your chance to REALLY get to know the legend with the first official documentary of his life made with unprecedented support from the Marley family and friends. Directed by Kevin Macdonald (Touching The Void) - it's looks fantastic...

Neil Young Journeys
Director Jonathan Demme sure does have a hard on for Neil Young releasing his third documentary (or live concert film if you prefer) about the legend. This time the films centres around a performance Toronto’s Massey Hall along with snippets of road trip footage through some of Young's childhood haunts....

Grandma Lo-Fi: The Basement Tapes of Sigrídur Níelsdóttir
Lastly, this ones a little quirky telling the story of an Icelandic woman who played music all her life but never recorded anything until she was given a tape recorder for her 71st birthday. She then proceeded to record over 50 homemade albums and distributed them herself, gaining acclaim form Icelandic heavy weights Bjork and Sigur Ros....
