La De Da Festival 2012 Second Lineup Announcement

Martinborough based new years festival La De Da have made their second lineup announcement. Joining the 2012 lineup is the mighty De La Soul who are playing their second new years festival having already been announced to play Coromandel Gold. Also announced were The Beatnuts, Dub Phizix and MC Strategy, Ladi6, Optimus Gryme with MC Tiki, Bulletproof, Trei, K+Lab, Alphabethead, Organikismness, The Thomas Oliver Band, Louis Baker, Brockaflowersaurus-Rex, Tali Live, Tommy Ill and K.One.

Summer and New Year’s Eve is less than 100 days away, so we thought it was time to share our highly anticipated second lineup announcement.

This inclu

des another 16 local and international acts joining our already epic list of artists.

This new mix of acts boasts some of the biggest names in international Hip Hop featuring the legendary De La Soul and The Beatnuts.

Playing simultaneously on the Electronic Stage will be a multi genre mix of Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Glitch Hop and Turntabilism with Dub Phizix and MC Strategy, Optimus Gryme with MC Tiki, Bulletproof, Trei, K+Lab, Alphabethead and Organikismness joining the festival.

Rounding out the lineup is New Zealand’s own Ladi6, Wellington favourites The Thomas Oliver Band, Louis Baker, and Brockaflowersaurus-Rex. Plus Tali Live, Tommy Ill and K.One.

With the already announced Shapeshifter, Andy C, Dub FX with Flower Fairy, David Dallas, The Nextmen, 1814, Tomorrow People, DJ Marky with Stamina MC, Delta Heavy, Concord Dawn and Aphrodite, this New Year’s at La De Da is going to be the biggest yet.

Festival Director Josh Mossman says “This 2012 La De Da lineup is the best yet, and we are counting down the days until we get to see it all come together live this New Year's Eve in Martinborough".

Layby Tickets - La De Da is introducing layby tickets to allow punters to secure their seat for New Years and still have time to pay it off. The layby option allows people to lock in the lowest ticket rate and they can pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly to secure their place.

Glampground - La De Da will be once again instigating a luxury camping site for those who want a little more comfort in their outdoor life – hot showers, luxury toilets and powered powder rooms ensure punters can stay fresh.
