Video: Toy Love - Swimming Pool

It's a massive week for cult band Toy Love. Tonight they will receive the legacy award at the annual New Zealand Music Awards and then this Saturday Real Groovy Records are putting on a special event to mark the release of Toy Love - a special vinyl-only double album featuring A and B sides, demos and other rarities along with a  24 page booklet. Evolution will see a bunch of great bands/musicians cover Toy Love songs live in store and Toy Love too will make an appearance.

In anticipation of all these goings-on a new Toy Love video for 'Swimming Pool' has been released today. The single, originally released in 1978,  is being released as a 7" on Saturday also and features a b-side from Knoxious, a colaboration between Chris Knox and his new best buds Rackets.  Here is the clip,  directed by Jeff Smith from The Newmatics, featuring a mini version of Toy Love performing the track, well trying to, in a pool....
