
New Zealand Film Awards 2012 Finalists Announced
The first, and hopefully not last, New Zealand Film Awards will take place this year and the finalists have just been announced. Launched by Hugh Sundae and Ant Timpson after the film categories were dropped by the annual Television Awards, the 'Sorta Unofficial' New Zealand Film Awards, as they been dubbed, will take place on Tuesday 4th December in Auckland.
Amongst the finalists we were particularly pleased to see Grayson Gilmour up for Best Score for his soundtrack to The Most Fun You Can Have Dying which you can check out over here. He goes up against Don McGlashan and Dawn Raid for Sione's 2: Unfinished Business, David Long for The Red House and Tim Prebble for The Orator. Here are all the finalists...
