Deerhunter announced the release of new album Monomania a couple of weeks back, accompanied by the crazy new press shot above, and have now followed up with the first single/title track. Pairing typical Deerhunter melodies with punk rock overtones, the new track recalls earlier Deerhunter records over their most recent release, 2010's Halcyon Digest. The band, complete with a wigged and bandaged Bradford Cox, debuted the song on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon - here is that performance and below is the album version of the single...
Monomania is out early May on 4AD.
